ARA
is back again with his fat and funky sound. Cross pollinating
traditional ethnic instruments with electronic grooves is the name of
his game and here he doesn't disappoint.
In
the first track "El Duende" a Spanish Gitana explains the musical
feeling of what the gypsy "Duende" gives you. Underneath the ancient
stringed instrument, the Ud, creates a mysterious atmosphere which is a
perfect break from the fat pumping beats on this track.
The
second track "Gypsy House" is ARA's take on the old meets new
tech-house influenced sound that is the recent buzz. Deep chords over
pumping beats and Gypsy's chanting in Romanian to keep on doing it
again.
